E-Commerce Manager
We are seeking an experienced E-Commerce Manager to lead the rollout and expansion of webshops for a globally recognised leader in HVAC cooling equipment manufacturing. This role is ideal for a highly technical, hands-on professional with a strong background in e-commerce development, platform integration, and digital strategy execution.
As E-Commerce Manager, you will be responsible for specifying, building, and testing new webshops, ensuring they align with business objectives and market needs. You will collaborate with local teams, developers, and marketing professionals to optimise content, product offerings, and customer experience, setting ambitious yet achievable growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write functional and technical specifications for webshop development.
- Coordinate with developers to ensure platform updates adhere to best practices.
- Adapt content, product listings, and marketing strategies for new markets.
- Oversee payment gateway integrations (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).
- Ensure compliance with international tax regulations, customs duties, and pricing strategies.
- Implement AI-driven personalisation tools and chatbot integrations.
- Manage customer support solutions, such as HubSpot.
- Utilise Google Analytics, Looker Studio, or Power BI to track performance metrics and drive data-informed decisions.
- Apply Agile and Scrum methodologies to streamline development cycles.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with platform rollouts and expansions.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in e-commerce strategy, development, and implementation.
- Hands-on knowledge of PIM (Product Information Management) systems.
- Experience using EPiServer CMS (or similar content management systems).
- Strong understanding of m-commerce (mobile commerce) and app-based e-commerce.
- Background in process mapping, technical documentation, and system development life cycles.
- Experience working with diverse, multinational teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and optimise performance.
Salary & Benefits:
- £45,000 - £50,000 per annum.
