Divisional Sales and Marketing Manager
We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Divisional Sales and Marketing Manager to join a leading healthcare provider. This vital role will support over 60 care homes across the Central Division, helping to drive occupancy and contribute to the commercial success of each location.
We are seeking a self-motivated, strategic, and creative sales leader who excels in business development, market analysis, and team management. If you have a passion for improving occupancy rates and making a meaningful impact in the healthcare sector, this could be the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Planning: Review financial and market data for each care home, developing business plans to optimize occupancy, revenue, and profitability.
- Leadership & Team Management: Line manage a team of Customer Relationship Managers and oversee the performance of Home Service Advisors.
- Sales Strategy & Enquiry Generation: Provide strategic input into lead generation and community engagement efforts.
- Training & Development: Identify and address challenges in enquiry handling and community outreach, delivering training programs for improvement.
- Recruitment & Retention: Oversee the hiring, induction, and ongoing development of Customer Relationship Managers and Home Service Advisors.
- Activities & Engagement: Supervise a Divisional Activities Lead, ensuring the delivery of Life Enrichment programs across all care homes.
- Market Awareness & Growth: Maintain a strong understanding of market trends and opportunities to drive strategic decisions.
- Occupancy Growth & Support: Conduct occupancy support sessions and create action plans to enhance admissions and revenue.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and enrichment teams to promote the company ethos and enhance brand visibility.
- Social Media & Digital Presence: Oversee social media activities for over 60 care homes, ensuring consistency in messaging and engagement.
- New Build Strategy: Support occupancy growth for three newly opened homes, ensuring a smooth market entry.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong background in sales, marketing, and/or communications.
- Proven experience in managing high-performing sales teams.
- Confident in using data-driven insights for business planning.
- Experience in market and financial analysis, with the ability to present clear, strategic conclusions.
- Full UK driving licence (due to the travel requirements of the role).
